About

This is a site with tips and guides about outdoor and handicraft. The person behind the site is Jonas Sjöblom. A Finn with lots of experience in both outdoor and handicrafts. In his repertoire we find a six weeks canoeing trip in northern Finland, a nine days solo canoeing trip on Swedish rivers, many years work as a kayak guideas well as many years education in both woodworking and bushcraft.
This blog was created as a way to spread knowledge about outdoor life and handicrafts in a sustainable way.
We do not review items in apparently environmental-harming materials such as gore-tex and other teflon-based materials, except to point out why they shouldn't be used. We also avoid plastic materials when there is a good alternative.
